What size does TTS actually mean?

I am a newbie here. I have been busy asking you a bunch of questions. Here is another one. :magwink

I started to think what TTS actually means. I know it stands for "true to size", but what size does it mean. Is it your actual average size in other jeans or is it your regular size with 7fam jeans?

I am usually size 28. I have been buying jeans in size 29, but I have learned the hard way, that those jeans usually strech and size 29 will end up being too big. :cry

So, if I am size 28 (sometimes 29) usually, is this my TTS size in 7fam jeans, too?

Little more about my sizing.

I have tried following jeans:

- Bootcut NYD 28" would be fine
- A Pocket in NYD, too 28 "

- Gingers in LAD, 27"

I am now bidding on Mercer Dojos size 28. Do you think it would be too big for me?

And thanks, Zephyr! :)

A size 28 should, with roughly a 7.75" rise, have a 15.5" aligned waist and a 18.5" hip (aligned waist is the tag size + 3 on avg rise and the hip is your corresponding misses size + 30. 28 is an odd, inbetween size, equivalent to a misses 7, hence my having a harder time selling them) I'm a 29, need a 16" aligned waist on an 8" rise (32-3=29) and a 38" hip, equivalent to a misses 8, so basically I'm the same size as every woman ever and can't get as good of deals as you might get! :jumping
