So is there a particular reason TR colored the buttons? I have seen pairs with the colored buttons just curious. The question is not directed to you Debbie but if you know why they did this it would be interesting to know.

Because they wanted to. Those are Stonewash. Basic early S2D.
They did it with some others also.
Can't tell you why other than they wanted to...
