Hi,

I have same jeans like these:
True Religion Black Dark Urban Cowboy Wash Stretch Jeans 26 Johnny Big T | eBay

I really love that pair, and I am searching for same or simular in blue or different color. when I search for johnny big t I do not find others. when I am searching for only johnny there are many but not skinny. I would like to have skinny. for what I have to look? does "johnny" not mean that its skinny? where can I see if its skinny? is it in the style number? Or mayebe does anyone sell such a pair? why are they so hard to get?

thanks so much for your help,
and many nice greetings

The Johnny cut, for women, is actually a straight leg. It's is not technically a skinny. I do feel that some of the older Johnny's, especially the stretch grey ones like you linked, ran a bit slimmer in the leg then newer Johnny's.

If you are looking for a skinny leg without flap back pockets, try to Stella cut. Or if you like flap pockets, the Julie cut is the skinny with flaps.

Also, the older ones ran a bit smaller the some of the newer ones. So you may be able to fit one size smaller in newer stretch pairs of Johnny/Stella/Julie. What size are the ones you have?

I wonder if your pair of Johnny's have been altered into a skinny. I ask this because I currently have a pair exactly like that, that someone had altered into a skinny. (See pics here) Sz 26 RARE True Religion Johnny Stella Big T Black Stitch Grey Skinny Jeans | eBay

Hi,

thanks so much for your answer. I have indeed size 26 - funny :jumping
but these in grey I already have - it's a pity.
So, do you really think if I will buy a newer one, I have to buy maybe 25?? Thanks that you have adviced me to that, because I did not know. I will take a careful look of the measurements before buying.
And please let me know if you have such a pair in different color for selling.
I am going to look for stellas and julies now, thanks for the detailed info.

nice greetings from Vienna,
Ursula

Hi Ursula. Yeah, I think you may be able to fit some of the newer washes in a size 25. Compared the aligned waist, hip, and thigh measurements provided by the sellers against your own to see how they match up.

I searched on eBay for you a bit....

Here is a good deal on a pair of Johnny Big T's in a size 25. They are the Rainbow Big T's though....not sure if you like those. It's a GREAT price for them though. http://www.ebay.com/itm/WOMENS-TRUE...224096?pt=US_CSA_WC_Jeans&hash=item20ce3047e0

Here is a dark wash pair, also in a size 25 that runs bigger then the grey ones. They aren't Big T though. Just basic stitch. They are at a nice price though. True Religion Womens Jeans 25 Skinny Leg Johnny | eBay

Stella's and Julie's are usually a bit harder to find. There were less of those made then their more popular styles like Joey, Billy, Bobby, etc. But keep searching on eBay. They will pop up!

Hi Ursula, did you run a search on German ebay, too? :magwink

Many German sellers are willing to ship to Austria and you can find some nice pairs there ... :yes
