Hi,
I'm looking to send a package to Peru. It's a gift for a friend, not a buyer.
Does anyone here have any experience with this? It's a hoodie, a Swiss Army knife, some Swiss chocolates, and a calendar. (Though I may replace the calendar since the dimensions are restrictive.)
I've done some searching and basically everything is crazy expensive ($150) or seems like it will get stolen!

If you ship with USPS express it shouldn't cost anywhere near $150 unless all of those items are significantly heavier than I am thinking. Sounds like you got quotes from FedEx/UPS. Express does come with $100 insurance and you could purchase more if you need it.

I can't really speak for the reliability of the service though. Seems like the only packages I shipped there ended up "lost".

Thanks Mike. I was able to fit it all in a medium flat rate priority box. It cost under $50 which is not bad. Whether it gets to my friend... that is another question!
