I'm looking at a very pretty pair of Roth Wicked Raw Dark (seller's description), and I am wondering if "raw" in this description refers to the kind of stiff, dark denim you have to wear for weeks to break in, or if it just refers to a wash color.

Also, I thought raw denim was 100% cotton. These are 98% cotton, 2% lycra.
They look authentic and the seller is on the approved seller list.

Are they a rigid jean, or no?

I'm sure "raw" refers to the wash, and they aren't the kind of "raw" that you have to break in. I have a pair of berlins in raw wash and they're really stretchy.

RAW for R&R is just a wash, its not actually raw denim, the ones you're looking at are tts to slightly small
