I found them both at the thrift store, both in like new condition. I am a total noob. Could you tell me if those are authentic and also the style name for the first pair? Also, both have 30 inch inseam, so they must have been shortened?

pair 1: real s2d. I dont know what inseam they come in but probably not 30" so they have been hemmed most likely. I dont know this style. Some sort of trouser.
pair 2: real and look to be in great shape. gingers (style listed on waistband) usually have a 34-35" inseam and a wide trouser hem so they have been hemmed.

They are perfect for me since I am short, but one size too small... guess I'll sell them on ebay.

My hubby is Russian-Hungarian His grandfather is Russian hence the last name. There was actually a -ski at the end of it but somewhere along the lines it was dropped off. I was pretty lame when selecting an initial username. I didn't think I would be on this forum for long, lol but I became a jean addict and I come on not as often now but every now and then.

Great deal. The Gingers should stretch some. s2D means they were made for discount stores like off saks 5th ave, etc at a lower quality. I have a few s2d pairs from a while back and I think the quality of them is just as good. Its hit or miss with s2d pairs. Those look pretty good.

that first pair is Farrah in Melbourne wash, love that wash even in the S2D variety ;score they are pretty you did great

second is mercer or lightweight mercer wash (i can never tell the difference )

good news is like Marie said, both pairs should stretch with wear, try just getting them buttoned and wearing them around for a few hours, bet they will work perfect for you :thumbsup

Ive been trying that with my car airbrush silver dojos maureen BUT I dont think I can do anything for the camel toe from them being too tight!! LOL. i can button them but that is not too pretty!!! HEHE.

are you talking about the lightweight caribe airbrush dojos if so then YES :rofl i get it completely!!! i can never wear any of those thinner denims especially if they are lighter colored because EVERY little imperfection shows :shake
