the cross stitch crystals can be tough to ID at first, they (along with some of the dojos) are still one of the hardest for me, but i'll tell you the easy dead givaway on these ... they were NOT made of 100% cotton :magwink :rofl other than that the wash is off, the seams are bad, the denim looks cheap, the crystals (what's left of them) are the wrong size and type, the tags and font are wrong.

here are pics of the real thing from the guide - the denim looks rich and soft, the wash is even and deep, the stitching is even and thick, the crystals are bigger and shinier and placed appropriately, the "A" is wider and shaped evenly

if you had them in your hand it is really really easy to tell, the fakes are kinda greyish and really streaky ugly horrible denim .. the authentic are absolutely gorgeous :drool2

Blows my mind. Thought I had a decent handle on fakes vs real and would've bet these were real based on rivets, tags, etc. Now granted I'm looking at men's on them and not something nearly so coveted, but damn I may have to post pics of my collection now.

I'll post some pics tomorrow. Though probably not fit pics, no one wants to see the old fat guy's butt.

Plus some of them are still a bit small since I stocked up for future weight loss. I can get into them but they squeeze certain parts a little tight. :bigeyes
