Can someone tell me if this is authentic?

For authentication, please provide a straight shot of the LV heat stamping. These pictures show the stamping at too much of an angle. Also need a picture of the datecode which you can find on the inside edge.

The man says he doesn't know of any data code. If so is the piece fake?

Sometimes it's not easy to find the date code, but it should be right at the seam. Even the fakes have date codes. If you can't get any better pictures, I wouldn't recommend buying.

Try to get better pics of the stamping.
