And he purchased it in April 07, so it hasnt been that long. I can't believe its ripping so fast! A hole/thinned/stringy area has formed at the butt (R&R rip area) and its about the size of the head of my thumb.

We purchased the jeans at Barneys (on sale) so its not like it was sent to the outlets or irregular.

Has anyone ever contacted SFAM about jeans ripping? Can anyone give me info on who to contact?

Read down further in this thread to where I had the headquarters information. That's who I ended up contacting for a replacement. The online will not help you if you did not purchase from SFAM online. Good luck! It took several weeks for my issue to be resolved, but I did get a new pair in the mail!
