I agree that it looks good.

"The LV is never cut off" is one of those oh-so-helpful hints that are in various guides all over the internet, and is completely FALSE, as in the example shown here. Sometimes, it is inevitable that part of the design is cut.

That said, the alignment on the bottom is correct for this style and yes, I'm confident it's authentic.
