I know I love the feel of my TRs but if you had to do a blind test where you tried on authentic TR and then a fake pair, would you be able to tell?

i purchased a pair of fake COHs on ebay once. i knew nothing about authenticating them via the stitching, pockets, etc.

but when i pulled them out of the package and put them on, i knew INSTANTLY that they were fakes. the denim felt rough, not super soft and supple like the real thing, and the fit was horrible.

so yes, i strongly believe that anyone would be able to tell the difference between premium denim and their fake counterparts based on the feel - especially the members of this forum.

to me this is like asking if you can tell the difference between an acrylic sweater and a cashmere one!
