yeah there is a mircostitching to it, but 2 things that im worried about is that its made in china, and also when i compared the hats to other, there is no "tm" to indicate the name on it

where are you looking for the TM at? They keep changing everything on the hats so its getting harder to keep up.

my opinion is authentic. Most of the hats are made in China.

It looks like a lot of the newer hats with that style of crystal are missing the TM.

That hat is a new style. They just started putting those crystals recently.

really?? imo i think its a fake. i noticed the top button D.E.H. is silver its usually dark and shady silver. the tags dont show microstitching and theres suppose to be a tag of a panther. Plus that ed hardy tag beside it, its not attached. ..watch out i feel the hat is shady.
imo fake but im not that pro.
you can easily tell in person if its real or fake, but not by picture. the rhinestones are very shiny under light. ;score those rhinestones are round? .. fishy.. the TM isnt there and the hook beginning with the letter "E" in ED Hardy isnt even curved all the way down but rather straight.

ok now im 100% sure its a fake.

the word "Ed Hardy" isnt even detailed it looks exactly like this its a knockoff. plus your hats rhinestones are round its suppose to be cut. im positive its a fake and you can bring it to the store and you'll get the same answers.

A lot of the new hats have those round rhinestones on them and not the cut ones. I thought that they were fakes when I saw em on eBay but they are selling hats at the EH store on Melrose with those round rhinestones. Its very hard to see that in the photos on EH website though.

the OP already purchased the hat and probably took that tag off themselves.

Also the OP said the tag has mircostitch. That is on the back of the tag which we cannot see in the photos.

looking at that hat and seeing pics of some of the previous hats i've sold i have noticed a few things different.

First, the Ed Hardy signature is way too low

compare that to these where the EH sig is more higher up

Secondly, on the OP's hat there are only two lines/threads of stitching below the EH sig when there is supposed to be 4 lines of stitching.

Lastly, the hologram sticker on the OP's hat looks like crap. It's not as shiny, the tiger image doesn't look good and it seems to be missing a serial number

compared to an authentic hologram

Also i thought all EH hats were made in the USA. The hats i posted above all said made int the USA. Somebody can correct me if I am wrong. I know CA hats are made in China but as far as i know all Ed Hardy hats should say made in the USA.

ok I live a few blocks from the Flagship store in Los Angeles. I have stated many times that the majority of the hats are made in China ... unless of course everyone here would like to tell me the Ed Hardy store is selling fakes. I have looked at probably 50 - 60% of the hats in the store and I have not seen a single one made in the USA. Same with Christian Audigier hats - I have not seen any made in the USA.

Maybe they slap a made in the USA tag on the hats that are going to Canada for NAFTA purposes or something? Yelnats please post up some photos of the tags on your hats.

I will walk my ass down to the store as soon as I have time and take a look. I will look for this hat or similar hats and compare em.

They have also been selling samples at the Melrose location and a lot of it has different tags or no tags and the designs are not quite right on all of em.

Also OP please post a photo of the microstitch.

Ok so i've dug a little deeper into my picture folders and found a tag pic that says made in USA. The tags small but you can still make out print on the tag.

I don't think the lower stitch is a good indicator of authenticity. I found 2 hats on the site w/ lower stitch:

Ed Hardy Specialty Corduroy Cap, Dragon-Pink/Light Blue

its hard to see it on the dragon hat but that stitch is definitely lower.

I don't think those two hats are a good comparison because they aren't rhinestone hats. Yes the sig is lower on those hats but maybe its because they have the design running down the hat. If you compare the OP rhinestone hat to all the other rhinestone hats on their site you won't find one that has the sig placed that far down from the cap.

It would also help if the OP could tell us where he purchased the hat from and maybe the price paid. That would probably help determine authenticity.
