Shipping costs
Yeah, ridiculous shipping, which sucked, but I got them for less than $30, even after that horrific shipping charge. I kinda understand it, because ebay doesn't charge the shipping costs against you nd only subtracts their earnings from the costs of the item itself, but I still think it's kinda a ripoff (although it's better than paying $150 for these jeans, IMO).

Weirdly enough, if you look at their feedback, the auctions you can still view all have free shipping or very normal shipping rates. Maybe there's a reason they priced this particular auction so high. Maybe ask out of curiosity.

Actually, that is incorrect. eBay changed their policy months ago and now charges their Final Value Percentage on both the item cost AND the shipping. This is to prevent Sellers from circumventing the fees by charging an outrageous ship cost and marking the item price low.

That IS totally weird. Their opening price for the jeans were $0.99, so maybe that's why? Or maybe they hadn't realized the shipping fee thing yet.
Regardless, shipping was ridiculous, but I couldn't resist getting another pair of Ditas!
