I was reading the tutorial and saw that the part on the U hooks is supposed to be curved and not straight like these.

So i assuming these are fake?

or these with the brown tag? Are brown tags fake?

Rememer, easy tell. If they are Super T the waist label will ALWAYS be stitched in the heavy thread as well.

No. Ricky is the cut name and in comes in several stitch styles. (Regular, Big T, Super T, etc.)

Ricky can come in full retail price pairs (better quality) and also straight to discount varieties (lesser quality).

The blue stitching on the waistband label notes that it is a straight-to-discount pair. Sometimes straight-to-discount pairs will state the style name (Ricky, Bobby, Billy, for example) but most of the time they will instead say what the actual fit is (Straight, Bootcut, etc).

Full retail pairs will not have a blue stitched waistband like that. They usually have red stitched, or a leather label.
