and if so... how do I find out about them?? I feel like there always in NY and LA but MIA is a pretty big fashion spot too. Ive been keeping my eyes peeled for a good while now and no luck yet. Anyone know how to be in the know with these things

It's not easy to find them here. Vogue (mag) sometimes has events advertised here in the back pages. Usually very high-end.
You can check upcoming events at the Miami Beach Convention Center, sometimes there are samples sales held there (Nov. and May).
other than that possibly charity events would be a good keyword search. IDK

Oh wait, Loehman's had a designer shoe sample sale last month. It was mostly Betsey Johnson, does that count?:jumping Prices were like 30-50% off. Check there.
