But I stick mine in a tyvek envelope first before putting into a FRE. That way if the envelope busts open along the journey the jeans are not exposed. I also reinforced with tape along the outside edges before putting jeans in and also on the inside in a criss/cross pattern (when I am doing two pairs or when they are shipping internationally). I receive so many FRE's in the mail that have been busted open at the seams. |

| | I'll have to try the roll.
I have been neglecting standard flat rate envelopes lately. These padded envelopes are pure love. It's just annoying that you can only order 15 at a time.

| | ^ I am going to have to try the roll as well. I have gotten two into one package at a time before, but I always put them in the tyvec envelope (which I learned on here) because I have received jeans halfway hanging out of the packaging before, and at least that saves them a little.

Just got a couple different FREs that were completely thrashed, and I'm amazed my jeans (not protected in any other way) were still in the envelope Quote:

Mens size 40 jeans fit without a sweat! I don't even have to reinforce the tab.

| | Was there a recent policy change on this? I had been sending my jeans through a contract post office in a grocery store with no problems, but it closed down when the grocery store went out of business.
So I went to the actual post office and the guy told me the package has to be flat. I told him I've sent them like this many times. He said, you may have, but we don't do that anymore. We put a stop to it.
Umm, OK. Is anyone else having issues? This package wasn't any more bulky than normal.
Treasurehoard, that's incredible that you can do 2 jeans in one envelope! ROFL, I feel like I can barely stuff one in there. |

| | No, it has not changed. I send dozens of packages a week with 1 or more pairs of jeans in them.
That guy is an idiot. Ask to speak to someone who actually knows what they are talking about next time. |

Who looks at that?
Are you kidding?
Why research anything for ones self when we have created so many resources and places to find some simple information.
Silly Mike...

Some of the other ones I used to use were crap though. But they make it go much quicker for me. Plus it drives me nuts if the tape get stuck back down on the roll and I have to keep peeling it up with a finger nail. |
