My first paiges... (not jeans!)

So I got these in the mail today and I LOVE how paige feels against the skin... problem is I think I could have afforded to size down but I was under the impression that paige ran small

I bought the skirt to wear with that top, specifically (which needs to be ironed btw ). I think the skirt looks okay in the front but not so good at the back... pencil skirts should be figure hugging imo and this one is really loose...

What does everyone think?

I LOVE the skirt! it's gorgeous and your top is really cute too!
but I see what you mean about the fit... how does it fit you in the waist?
I like skirts to hug the body as well, but maybe the cut of the skirt isn't meant to fit that way?

I voted to get it tailored because that skirt is really cute! esp the las palmas pockets

aww thanks It fits OK in the waist, a little loose but nothing I can't deal with, doesn't require a belt or anything. I bought it specifically for the pockets

yup, it's all about the pockets!

it is def a bit loose in the back...paige does run small, but i've noticed for skirts, i can size down. for pants, i have to size up.

i have a pencil type skirt from paige that fits well in the back. if u can, get a price on altering it...if it's too expensive, then i vote to sell it.

Love the skirt. I agree, if not too pricey - alter it!

It's gorgeous. IME, it's hard to get Paige skirts to fit correctly in the back if you're a small size. I'm a TTS 23, and I've yet to find one that fits me nicely. One of my friends is a 25, and she has the time problem... they do something odd in the back. I vote getting it altered.

OMG, where did you get it?? I've been looking for something exactly like that for so long!

I think it looks really cute on you, but you should size down

it's soo pretty and looks great with that top, too! Maybe try shrinking it a bit?? But I actually think you can totally pull it off this way as well.

I tried wearing it out tonight for a casual dinner... I loved the movement, the way it doesn't make me tangle up and trip all over myself which is something (I think) that pencil skirts do? I really can't carry off mini skirts so I love the length

I don't think it would cost too much to get it altered, definitely cheaper than sending it back to the US for sure, BabyJ I got it off ebay for a BIN of $55 and it was a completely impulsive BIN - not sure if I can find a size 24 in this design (las palmas )

I will try shrinking as alissa suggested, if it doesn't work, I'll take it to my tailor to see what can be done, if she doesn't think she can make it work, sell
But thanks so much for the votes and opinions I love this skirt so much I don't feel like changing even

Methinks a paige addiction is gonna start pretty soon....

I think it looks fine, but if you really want you could still tailor it
