sizing help, please? (25/26)

hey everyone,

i recently just got into paiges and have two pairs so far, 25 med clean vintage lace (lc) and 25 lagoon u-pocket (lc). the med cleans fit me perfectly, while the lagoon wash is a bit more snug. does anyone know if the lagoons will stretch out (or shrink) in the wash or after wear? i'm wearing them right now just trying to see if they'll stretch a bit more, it seems like they are but i'm not too sure...

if anyone who has similar measurements can help me out with sizing, it would be great! i'm just debating whether i should stick to 25s or size up to a 26. i sized up for R&R before and the 26s were loose on me. anyway, most of my jeans are:

waist with dip: 14
waist aligned: 14.5
hips (zipper base): 16.5-17
thighs (crotch): 8.5-9 (but closer to 9)

thanks everyone!

I measured my 26's (LC and HH). The waist aligned is approximately 14.75; thighs about 9.25.

Hope that helps.

I would stay with the 25's because IMO the med clean vintage lace LCs are pretty TTS for paige; i.e. if a 25 in those fits you perfectly, that should be your regular paige size

You know, it's weird but I have two pair of LC one in med clean and the other light destruction and both are a 27 and fit fine, but I wear a 25 in Sevens and COH. Am I weird?

I have a dark wash like lagoon and it doesn't stretch out much at all. But, most Paiges don't stretch out much with wear, at least not any of mine.

I'm btwn sizes too and I took a 26 in med clean vintage lace and a 27 in lagoon. I also took a 26 in dark clean las palmas, 26 in dark resin, 27 in afterhours las palmas.. it varies for me. If your 25s aren't comfortable after trying to stretch them try on a 26 and see what you think.

measurements! ahh, thanks LadyAnvil!

thanks for the help so far, everyone

the vintage lace ones i bought were used, so i wasn't sure if that was a factor in terms of it feeling more 'my size' compare to the lagoons, which were bought new... but i've also heard that lagoons are a little on the snug snide anyway.

thanks for the help again! i think i might need to pass up a pair of light cleans because the measurements are about an inch or so smaller than mine, but they're 25s. *sigh*

Always stick with the measurments. "Sizing" seems to vary greatly between brands.
