Paiges vs. Joe's Jeans

Does anyone own both? I'm just wondering which you like better. I just read a review today that gave great reviews for Joe's jeans for girls with more voluptuous bodies and petites (I'm both). The review did meantion a few other brands, but not Paige's, so I'm wondering if maybe it was older than Paige's?

I'm short (5'1"), very curvy, smallish waist and definitely have a butt. Not huge, but not non existant either. I'm a 28 in true religion joey's (not clue what wash because I'm not good with washes) and a 29 in 7famk. So far, that's all the premium denim that I've tried.

Anyway, if anyone has any feedback, that'd be cool. Thanks!

i don't own both but paiges just seem to fit everyone. i heard that the u pockets were cut smaller in the hips so maybe try a pair of paige v-pockets. oh and they make petite ones too.

i own both joe's & paiges and i don't like one over another, just depends on what look you are going for. if you don't like hemming, then the joe's provacateur and the paige petite cut would be awesome. for joe's, you can easily find new washes at nordstrom rack for $80+tax. the only caveat with joe's is that the sizing is inconsistent. although the material content for joe's and paiges indicate they are stretch, the jeans don't tend to stretch much like 7FAM imo. you should also definitely give joe's honey cut a try too!

That's awesome, thanks. I should just drag my lazy butt to the store and try both on, but I'm so addicted to online shopping.

I have 2 pairs of Paige, 1 pair of Joe's and I definitely prefer my Paiges. Will probably sell my Joe's, they don't fit me well at all. I got the socialite cut, doesn't work for shorty's imo

I dont have any joe's because they dont fit good on me. I prefer 100% paige. I saw a bunch of joes in Marshall (2 to 5 styles). if you have a local Marshall store close to you and try some of them. :-D

I have both and I like my Paige better. Paige flattens my butt (which I prefer) while Joe's Muse cut seemed to make it look like a balloon. Not as flattering as my Paige in my opinion. Joe's stretch denim stretches more than the Paige stretch denim. However, I did try out the Joe's socialite in 100% cotton and really liked that one. It shaped and formed my body like the Paiges do. But Joe's doesn't sell much 100% cotton and all of it that I have seen is destroyed and mine really tore at the knee. Hope that helps!

also, i noticed that the joe's older washes and cuts fit poorly. my favorite pair of joe's is the honey in birkin wash and honey in clash!

you can look at the joe's guide to see what washes i'm referring to...they definitely fit better on me than on the revolve models! ;)

I have Paige Laurel Canyon and Joe's Socialite. I prefer the wash on my Joe's and they do nice things for my butt, but the Laurel Canyon is the most comfortable jean I have ever owned I have heard Joe's Honey is the best for girls with a small waist/round booty. I have the opposite problem - flat booty, straight waist. I like how slim the hips and thighs are on Paige, they fit like a dream.

I somewhat dislike Joe's. They just look awful on me, especially around the thigh/knee area - makes them sacks of flabby pudding. Paiges are much better. No offense to Joe owners, but they seriously don't work for me.

i only have one pair of Joe's jeans socialite in harvey wash, and i love those. they are pretty soft and stretchy. and I recently bought my first pair of paige (pico style) in midnight rocker and i think i like them as well. i haven't really worn them yet (just tried on), but they do fit slimmer than SFAM and TR and don't stretch out (so ive heard) as much. IMO, u should definitely try paige. I too am pretty curvy (and petite) and i think Paige does a good job hiding the flaws and accentuating the goods.

the fabric paige uses feels like much better quality than joe's, and the cuts are more flattering. i've tried on honey, socialite, and rocker, and none are as flattering as paige. i'd say go with the paige petites.

Agreed... Joe's seem better for small waist/bigger booty, while Paiges seem better for small booty/thicker waist. Paiges make my butt look rounder and hug my thighs, while I've tried Honeys, Socialites, Muse and none of them look very nice on me.

However, Paige Hollywood Hills and Robertsons are fuller in the thighs (and I assume the same in the waist as LCs) so maybe might be a good choice?

I want to try Joe's. I love the Vincent and Keith wash, I think they're called. What style should I try? I'm a small 24. Does the cigarette or Chelsea style run small to tts? I've only tried on the Socialites in Kennedy and they fit me fine.

I have TRIED to love Joe's because one of my friends just swears by them. But they do not look good on me at all. They flatten out my butt and just make me look really odd, and are cut way too large in the thighs for me. I have skinnier legs so the Paige's work perfect on me because they are not cut wide in the thighs or legs at all really. The Joe's just make me look more squat in my opinion. But on my friend they look awesome. It's just so personal!!

kennedy is TTS, since since there's a a lot of stretch. but with the other washes you mentioned, i'd advise that you try them on in the store first b/c some washes, although they are 98/2, don't stretch as much.

I actually just sold my size 29 Joe's Honey Booty Jeans. I am a size 28 in COH and 7FAM and a 28-29 in Paige. I definitely did not like the Joe's nearly as much as I love the other brands listed above.

I don't even have a huge booty and they really made it look bigger. The only Joe's that I really like are the socialite fit because they are super comfortable to wear everyday. Hope this helps!
