Can you alter waist?

I have a pair of Robertsons that I love but would love to make fit better. The jean fits perfectly: legs, butt and hip, but only about 1/2 way zipped up.

I would love to know if I could tailor the jeans to give out the waist or should I just bags these jeans and try a different brand? I swear, post baby, I'm now super WIDE at top! LOL!

Did I mention I love these jeans and the super WIDE flare?!

I don't know if you could let out the waist. It would depend on how much excess material there is. You could take them to a tailor to find out.

Can you damp stretch the waist? It wouldn't fix them permanently, but it might help you get them zipped.

The other option is to size up and alter the jeans to fit.

J Brand maternity jeans simply ad a triangular piece of thick elastic in at the top....usually helps give an inch or two. I wear my mat jeans all the time (no longer preggers) and nobody knows the difference! You may wanna google some pics and see if that's an option?
