New Paige Style ~ Rising Glen

Looks like they have a higer rise, which supposedly slims the body. What does everybody think?

I personally like lower rises, but wonder if they actually do slim the body down..

Which one is Paige's other higher rise jean...I think it's Hollywd Hills (?)...anyway, that was TIGHT on me in the waist. I don't think I can do a rise higher than 8"...just doesn't work well w/my bod, but then again, I don't think I can pull off super low waist styles (6" mark) because of the muffin top effect!

Hmmm, I think my HH do make my hips look a little straighter and slimmer than LCs, but I'm not liking how much space there is between the pockets and waistband on this style. Maybe it takes time to get used to it.

yeah i saw those awhile back. I have a long torso, and hollywood hills is far from high on me (it's actually pretty low) so these may not be too terribly bad on me. I'd just have to try them.

I found a pair of these at Nordstrom Rack and of course, bought them (for the sake of research ) Will post pictures later, but I don't think they're keepers. They would probably be better for my 61-yo mom...

Okayyyy... here they are! It is a wierd feeling to zip up your jeans, and the zipper keeps going and going and going. I feel very covered up and "decent", and my tummy feels flat (as if I'm wearing a girdle) but so does my butt.

(My four year old took the front view picture)

It says 9 5/8" rise but doesn't look that high on the pictures though. I guess it's best to try them on.

I returned these. They look too similar to my Hidden Hills, and HH is more flattering, IMO b/c of the thicker waistband.

Ooops, sorry I missed the pics you posted. I think they looked good from the back, so so from the front.

Is the rise higher than Hidden Hill?

Yes, higher than Hidden Hills. I didn't measure, but they felt that way. The leg is a little looser and straighter, too, I think.
