I've been on the lookout for a nice, men's peacoat for a while now. Don't think there's any army surplus stores around me unfortunately. I'm looking in the price range of around $150. $200+ is a bit out of my range right now.
Any suggestions? I've seen quite a few in NR, but nothing I really like. I want something slim/fitted and semi-long (around mid-thigh).
Anyone got any brands in mind? Well, brands for the REAL navy/military peacoats. I know a lot of the designer names, but not the contract brands. I got sent a link to an auction by a forum member to one that I'm thinking about buying on eBay. The brand name Wolverine. According to the description, it's a top brand...but Google search has come up with nearly nothing.
J. Crew makes REALLY nice peacoats. But I ended up getting my boyfriend one from the Gap, and it fits really well. All of the others we tried on other than those 2 brands seem to be too boxy-looking.
