How much does it cost on average to get a pair of bootcuts turned into straight legs?

The only tailor in walking distance of my house is kind of dishonest about pricing but is willing to compromise and I want to make sure I talk to her about it fairly because I think I have decided to get a few pairs made into straight legs just so they look better on my short legs.

I don't have the time to go somewhere to find a better priced tailor so just wanted to see reasonable prices for anyone who's had it done. Thanks!

for what it's worth...i tend to prefer bootcut on my stumpy legs (30.5 inseam on a 5'6 body) unless I'm tucking the pants into boots and/or wearing a flowy top over them! so i wouldn't recommend turning a bunch of them into straight legs...unless you also have really thin legs (which I def don't)

ive never done this but i know that a few forum members have done it. However, if your getting a few done, You should definitely get a better price. Whenever i bring more than one pair to my tailor, she tries give me a better deal.

ETA: if its really expensive to tailor, you could try to sell them and get straight legs
