Bedtime

I don't sleep much usually go to bed around 12 - 1 and wake up at 6 - 7. But I actually just lay in bed for 2 - 3 of those hrs not sleeping.

Usually between 12-2 depending on whether or not I have to get up early. However my sleep habits are way messed up now thanks to some recent hospital related all nighters. I can't seem to go to bed earlier than 4 now

Go NIGH-NIGHT MIKE!

It all depends. Sometimes I go to sleep at 10 and sometimes I go to sleep at 4am and then only sleep for 30 minutes and then go back to sleep again another 2 hours after that. Do you believe the amount of sleep you get has much to do with your performance the following day or whatever? I believe sleep is overated. Who's to say that those who sleep more are better then those who sleep less? Or Vice versa? I can sleep for 3 hours or 80 hours if I am open-minded.

wow, 80 hours would be alot. I am a night owl. I go to bed late. I used to work 11p.m. to 7a.m., so i guess i got used to it. I eventually need to break the habit while i am still young.

Totally over rated. I don't need a lot of sleep to function. My brain is usually going a mile a minute 24/7. Even when I sleep. I will end up waking up in the middle of the night and need to take some notes about what ever popped into my head to use at a later time.

I am thinking about going to sleep soon though.

I slept through a tornado the other night. I've been known to sleep through anything in a semi-coma for hours on end. I love it.

Yep same here. I once slept through a helicopter hovering metres above my house.

I like your thinking Amber....

For me it depends:

Good day: I sleep around 1 a.m. and get up at 10:00 a.m. or whenever my daughter gets me up

Bad day: 10 p.m. and I lay awake in bed till 5 a.m. or....

Terrible day: I retire around 3 a.m. and walk around like a zombie all day from the lack of sleep

I certainly am not on my A game if I consistently get little to no sleep. I'm actually still insleep bankruptcy from the week after my son's birth and being a single mom bartending at night since. I can tell a HUGE difference when I get 6+ hours of sleep vs. 4 or less. But I used to not be able to, before my sleep bankruptcy.

I can't function without sleep...but I do have those nights where I can't go to sleep, mostly because I am doing that "If I go to sleep now, I will get 6 hours..."

I usually go to bed around 11 and wake up at 7.

bed around 10-11, up around 6:20-7:00am

I can tell a big difference if I get less than 7 hours but more than 5, I'm feeling tired the very next day, but less than 5 hours I'm pretty good for a few days then I crash

I like my sleep

Mmmm sleep... total waste of time BUT I'm a total bitch without it, lmao. Caffeine doesn't work for me anymore, so sleep is pretty necessary for me. I crash between 12 and 2, and get up when ever my kids wake me (anywhere between 6 and 10... I love the days that its 10)

I'm usually in bed, ready to sleep at 11pm, but I won't fall asleep until nearly 12. I've always had a hard time falling asleep, even when I'm dead tired. I've been waking up at 7am for so long that it doesn't matter what time I goto sleep nowadays, that I'll wake up automatically at 7. Sucks on the weekends.

I HAVE to have at least 8 hours each night or I am totally out of it. Ten p.m. is the absolute latest. I drink coffee but if I dont have enough sleep it just makes me jittery tired. I am so glad that my son sleeps through the night now so I can function. I dont work over the summer so I have been going to bed later but still getting up at 7 a.m. with the baby!

sleeping is one of my favorite things to do. Since baby has arrived I haven't been able to get very much of it though.

I love sleep, but I also love getting up early. I get a lot done in the morning. On days that I'm not working, I'm up at 8:30, and on workdays, I need to wake up at 5:30 for a 6:30 shift. I shoot for 6-7 hours of sleep a night.
