Good men's undershirts

My boyfriend asked me for a bunch of undershirts for Christmas. Unfortunately, the type he asked for is from Marks & Spencer, and it would cost me a fortune to buy even one.

Can the guys recommend me a nice brand of undershirt? He's really sweaty so one that would help him not get pit stains on his button down shirt would be good! (That is he likes the m&s one.) They also have to be long enough. He wears an XL and is 6'5". TIA!

Also, while I have you here, if you could recommend nice gloves for men too, that would be excellent!

I just checked their website and they cost like $15 USD for 3 plain T-shirt's and a 2 pack of the climate control ones are about $30. Not too bad IMO, if that's what he asked for I would get it for him, it is Christmas...

If he was specific about the Marks & Spencer, I would just give him that.

I'm not going to be much help even though I fit your criteria of being 1.) male 2.) having an opinion on undershirts and gloves

but for what it's worth to you D&G pima cotton undershirts are great. Hermes gloves = A++. Also the Nordstrom house brand leather and cashmere lined gloves are really good considering that they are 1/10 the price.

They're not 15$ USD. They're 15 GBP plus 20 GBP for shipping, and I don't think they would arrive in time.

Also, he already uses that Gillette clinical strength stuff, and lots of it too. I think he just gets nervous when he gives presentations and stuff.

Maybe thick shirts would be good in this case?

Alternative apparel makes thick shirts and pro5shirt. Knowing his size, you can also check ebay to see if some deal comes up and buy it

Plus 20 GBP shipping.

I think I will just skip the undershirt part of his gift. He can get his mom to buy them more easily (she lives in Europe) and it would end up costing 75 Canadian for 3 of the undershirts he wants.

ETA: Thanks for all of the input, and so quickly, too!

well the ones I looked at said 3 for 7.5 GBP which when typed into a currency conversion website works out to $11.59USD and delivery is listed as 3.5 GBP

3 Crew Neck Short Sleeve Vests - Marks & Spencer

But hey, if making your bf happy on Christmas isn't worth $20 to you then by all means, go cheap out

It will probably not arrive ontime anyway. Try American Apparel Ts, they are nice, and you can get them locally. There is nothing special about Marks and Sparks Ts. I am not sure if this has been mentioned, but maybe he should try antiperspirant instead of Deo. The sweat however, will have to escape somewhere, whether it be the forehead or somewhere else on the body.

You can get 15% off your order on AA and you can get free shipping if your order is over $50

Buy T-Shirts Online - American Apparel - Panties, Bras, Shorts, Shirts and More

Do you have a personal interest in what she gets her boyfriend or something?

I'm sure his Christmas will be ruined if he doesn't get some fucking undershirts.

No. Just see no reason for her to be getting bitchy toward the OP unless she has some vested interest. Considering how many times she has replied to this thread it seems she just might.

Carry on.

I wouldn't be psyched about spending $75 on 3 undershirts either, esp. since they aren't the most long-lasting items ever.

Shipping times aside I can't see why anyone would refuse to spend $20 on something someone specifically requested. Considering it's the thought that counts when giving gifts, a cheap replacement would say to me "yeah, you weren't worth the extra $3. Merry Christmas though!"

So in my eyes, I'm not the one being a bitch...
