Leather jacket armpit question

Please excuse me if this sounds a little silly
I bought a leather jacket recently that I want to wear over t-shirts & shoe-string tops. I'm just concerned about the sweaty armpit thing and not being able to wash it every time I wear it
I do normally wear deodorant daily btw, but should I be using anti-perspirant when I wear it, or are there liners that you can purchase for the armpits which can be removed & washed after wear I was even wondering if the leather actually absorbs & dissipates the sweat & smell???
I'd love some advice from what others do to combat this issue so I can finally wear it

Huh. If you were so hot that you were sweating wouldn't you remove your jacket?

I get what you mean although I don't sweat too much or ever smell bad, but this issue is not new for me. Haha.. Probably, just a few will admit it, but you got a point. so after you wore your jacket from 5 to 30 times and shed some sweat in it, there might be some smell issue. And, to be honest, I don't know how to combat this apart of trying not to sweat good deodorant, fresh clothes under the jacket every time, remove the jacket when it's too hot.. But the point is that people sweat not only when it's hot, don't they? I have seen some adhesive pads on eBay once but they really looked like womens hygiene pads and white as well.. They r supposed to be worn under t-shirts but I think they'd be visible.

None of my female friends ever sweat at all, as it seems.. Even when we go to sauna together hardly do they break out in sweat, so I guess, "the leather jacket" issue is not everyone's issue

^ Thank you Kati for understanding what I'm getting at here
I'm a bit of a clean freak too & pretty much never wear any item of clothing 2 days in a row, so I was trying to come up with a solution. I seriously do like the adhesive pads idea (to somehow stick on the jacket), but yeah they would have to be black. Lol at the white ones looking like hygiene pads, if I had those I'd probably be to embarrassed to take the jacket off if I was hot

^ haha.. yeah exactly! but I think you can notice those pads even if they'll be black.. it will look weird.. haha.. what if the pad will fall out of the jacket on the go

^ Haha, yes they are what I had in mind But you're right that if one dropped out on the go......more embarrasment, which is kind of what I'm trying to avoid in the first place Think I'll just have to go for the 'trying not to sweat' option

Last night I was trying to work out what was going on in the 1st pic of that set of 4 - looks like she's trying to put it on her elbow?? it was hurting my eyes so I gave up. Just noticed the toaster thingy too not even sure what it's meant to be, maybe a make-up pouch????

Certain Dri is an incredible over-the-counter anti-persperant. I highly recommend. But in all honesty, your jacket should air out while it's hanging up each day. I think you are a bit overly concerned about the cleanliness of your outermost layer of clothing. Spritz Febreeze on it. I don't think it's a problem for most people unless you have some kind of sweat gland issue.

Unless you have SERIOUS sweat issues I would not get those pads. They will most certainly fall out and you will feel/look like a fool. Get Botox in your pits or something.

(Cotton) Undershirts with sleeves seems like an easy fix, maybe it's the fabric of the top you are wearing that is making you sweat.

Thx T. & Lori for chiming in too
Yeah, I am being overly concerned T. (more about hygiene than the actual amount of sweat I produce) But I do think I'll wear at least a t-shirt (cotton - thx Lori) underneath rather than just a singlet or shoe-string top so there's not the direct contact between armpit & jacket
+ Kati, you & I are the AF sweaters, loud & proud

I have this problem too (hyperhidrosis, yes gross)! So you don't sound silly I have since gotten a different medicine from my dr, so no more sweating for me..

Anyway, to answer your question: I have a light colored leather jacket that I have a teeny stain on it Can you get it out? So yes, leather can get stained from sweat. No, I haven't had any problems with leather taking on the smell of deodorant or anything.
