Warmest Gloves Ever

This isn't fashion, but I don't think this thread would get viewed in Accessories. Can you all recommend incredibly warm gloves? I have poor circulation so my fingertips are usually stinging in the wintertime.

I wear kombi ski mitts that have a separate outer layer (waterproof ski part) and an inner glove. The mitt comes off so I can use my fingers without completely exposing my hands. They are super warm. (I grew up in Ottawa and have Raynaud's phenomenon so I also lose circulation in my hands easily.)

T, why don't you just get a pair of sheepskin mittens Warm+fashion (depends on mittens, of course) I think you'd look cool in those big oversized things..

..and that oversized Anthro coat with a meaning, which you posted before just kidding about the coat

I also have Reynauds, so I am probably not the best comparison, but I use North Face mitts (supposedly rated to -30C, but in those temps I use hamdwarmers in them as well) in NYC when it gets into negative (F) temps here and they are good for me.

Tush, I've never even heard of sheepskin mittens. Send me a pic and quit making fun of that gigantic coat. I already sent it back lol.

I've wondered if I have Reynauds as well. My daughters hands are always this weird grey/purple color. I can't remember what the doctor said about it. I know it's a bit prominent in African Americans. It sounds like everyone is recommending mittens (which I hate lol.) I have North Face gloves and they SUCK! I feel like I was duped. I went to the sports store and paid good money.

For Raynaud's they have to blanche (lose colour, not just go purple.)

I hadn't heard that it was more common in any race but it's much more common in women than men. I get the grey/purple/blue thing going on and had that for a while before I started getting the blanching.

Mittens really are a lot warmer... Thinsulate gloves are okay if you're not outside a lot but they let too much heat escape IMO.
