*Many Fit Pics!* Belstaff Leather and Corral Caiman boots

In the words of Darryl Hall at the end of Adult Education, "OH YEAH! OH YEAH!" Since I wasn't contented with my Schott Peacoat I needed to get a new jacket. So...what did I get? A Belstaff Knockhill Leather Vintage!
For those who don't know, this is the same brand that Steve McQueen is known for wearing and is one of the most sought after brands in the world for their stylish cuts and absurd attention to detail. Oh, they've also starred in many movies. For example, my jacket is a leather version (as opposed to waxed cotton) of the one that Will Smith wore in "I Am Legend". Being as I'm English, I'm happy to go with an English product too.

I'm keeping the jacket. I was unhappy with the Schott one but I've already taken the tags off of this Belstaff. I can't return it now and couldn't be happier. The fit is great. Keeping in mind there is armour in this jacket (removable) - it fits great in my mind. It fits like a jacket that'll go anywhere, do anything, and look good during. The sleeves end perfectly on my thumb's knuckle and the jacket ends right in the middle of my hand. I love the tartan lining of it as well, plus it's removable so it's a multi-season jacket.

Also, I wanted to give a shout out to Paul at BritishMotorcycleGear.com for being the owner of the only company in the US that sells Belstaff at Belstaff prices, not fashion conscious Belstaff prices. If you're looking for a Belstaff product, I'd give Paul a call as you'll be gauranteed to pay a proper price, not an inflated/in demand price.

The boots are Corral Caiman Vintage Inlay boots. The tan leather is cowhide, and the black leather inlaid is Caiman skin, which is a 'sister' to the alligator. These are a birthday gift to myself. It was September 28th.

Here we go!

Gorgeous sleeve detail:

Belstaff logo on the buttons:

..but being as it's a motorcycle jacket they rubberized the buttons on the bottom of the jacket to protect your motorcycle's tank.

It has armor in the shoulders, the elbows, and the upper back. Here's a shot of the elbow/forearm armor:

The top peice of the 'inner' pocket folds over with the cover to create some 'water repellancy'. They're very spacious and will prove to be useful in the winter time I'm sure:

Once again, attention to detail. Here's the pull on the zipper:

The neck is adjustable by using some very high quality buckles:

Also, the inside of the collar is lined with corduroy:

The end of the sleeve is gusseted and adjustable:

BOOTS

The beautifuly tooled leather 'dressing up' the caiman skin:

FIT PICS!

Pants are True Religion Drifter Billy Super Big T's and the sweater is just some Nike sweater I've had for a few years.

Buttoned up with the belt on:

This jacket looks great on you! Congrats! Great quality! Love it on you

I like the boots too: amazing detailing and beautiful colour!

I wouldn't pair these together though, I think somehow styles of both clash not in a very good way. But maybe you need to try them with another pair of jeans? darker colour? Imho, the prominent white stitching and wash don't go too well with the jacket and boots.

Thank you very much! I'm so happy I sent that Schott one back. The sleeves end perfectly, the jacket 'falls' perfectly, and hell, it's one of the best looking jackets and brands you can get nowadays. (MY opinion...) It's also the lining that gets me. I LOVE the tartan pattern and colors of it.

As for clashing, I know. But of course, I just sorta wanted you guys to see both of these items being worn without too many more photos. Plus, today was a laundry day so those True Religions were all I had that were bootcut.

^ Do you wear straight leg and slim leg jeans too? May be they will look cooler with the jacket?

No. I really only wear bootcut jeans. All of my pairs of Diesel are Zatiny and my one pair of True Religions are the Billy cut - which is their slim bootcut...

Yeah! I totally understand, it is your style!

P.S. But I cannot help an urge to put you in slim straight dark-ish wash jeans and black motorcycle boots over jeans! I am sure you'd look great especially with your new Belstaff jacket.

Well, no motorcycle boots I'm afraid, but will black Ariat cowboy boots work?
How about a black cashmere scarf tied in?

The thing is, I'm looking for a new scarf this year. But, I don't really know how to 'wear' them. Do I want the scarf to contrast with the jacket and match something else, or do I want my scarf to match the jacket?

I've been eyeing this scarf in the military green color:
Scarf & tie Men KATIA-SERVICE - Other accessories Men on Diesel Online Store

But I've also been looking at this one in the darker color:
Scarf & tie Men 2-KAITON - Other accessories Men on Diesel Online Store

But plaid goes sorta well with the liner of the jacket, but you'll never see the liner of the jacket....:
DIESEL Steve Service Scarf in Black at Revolve Clothing - Free Shipping!

But I've always wanted a Shemagh. Especially since there's so many ways you can wear one:
http://www.amazon.com/Premium-Shemag...ref=pd_sbs_a_2

HELP ME!!

I like the second and the Shemagh scarf (it's so cheap, just get it!).

Ok. But like I said though, how do I wear one with this jacket? Do I get a scarf that contrasts or matches? Should the scarf match my shoes, belt, jacket?

I like the second scarf as well, and like I said, I want the Shemagh, but what color do I get either in?

I am super clashy, so I always throw randoms together. So I like things to stand out than to match. But your style is more clean. So stay in the same colour family but with different texture.

The second scarf would be a good statement piece. The Shemagh, I'd say get it in the colour that is harmonious with most of your pieces. So based on your above outfits, black.

I have a feeling you would probably get the most wear out of the third scarf. It's something that would go with a lot of other things.

Well, I went with the first scarf in the military green color. I think the near neutral colors will make it easier to blend in but stand out enough.

I also ordered this: Sweatshirts Men SQUI 00RXH - Sweatshirts Men on Diesel Online Store

I think that sweater looks fantastic. Plus, since it's grey, I think it'll go quite well underneath the jacket. Grey goes well underneath it, as you can tell from the earlier pics.

It, along with the scarf, are supposed to arrive on Wednesday so I'll do my best to get some 'fit pics' of it up as soon as possible.

The scarf and sweater just arrived but I have to be at work in 30 minutes. I'll upload some fit pics of them as soon as I get home at 10 o'clock tonight. I just tried it on and couldn't have asked for a better fit.
