I'm kind of stumped...

...I know what I want to wear with this dress, and I'm not all that worried about appropriate...more concerned with comfort and me just liking them!
I busted my pinky toe...mashed it pretty good about a month ago and still having trouble wearing ANY shoe for a length of time...so...help?

Here's the dress...

I want to wear something like these..
UrbanOutfitters.com > Matiko Kleah Cutout Wedge Boot]UrbanOutfitters.com > Matiko Kleah Cutout Wedge Boot

or these...not nec. this color

Purple suede would be awesome, but I can only find these...

I guess you need to know 'appropriate ' for what...it's a wedding, kind of on the casual side, but still in the evening. The dress is much longer on me than the model, if that helps to know.

Thanks for your advise

So you're looking for a bootie to kind of add a tough touch to the feminine dress?

So far I found these that are cute though you're wanting something a bit more funky?

Both from Piperlime and are by Hive and Honey....

I personally would say a BIG no to the second pair I would wear a white heel, I know that probably doesn't help you at all.

Purple with that dress? maybe it's just me but purple seems like it would clash BIG time. I would do white, or brown...but that's just me. I know that probably didn't help much.

I like making things go together that maybe shouldn't. Actually...since purple and yellow are complimentary colors
I want more of a plum purple, but am contemplating brown too.

Laura, the second ones, if dark brown may work. Suede I was actually scouring Piperlime at the same time you were last nite, and found these

...if only I thought I could remain in them for more than five minutes

Thanks! As for the pumps, if you think you can wear them, I think they would go with the dress! On my screen anyway, the color of the dress looks like it's a match with the darker color on the shoes.

I agree, I think those pumps are PERFECT for the dress! they have the purple you want, and also brownish that ties them in with the dress!

okay I DO like these, maybe it was just the other purple pair you listed, I thought they were too purple, or something. I just personally didn't like them & couldn't imagine them with the dress.

Thank you Girls I think we may have a winner

I posted this again so you can see it next to the shoes...I can't figure out how to put things next to each other ...oh well

These I can get for $52. AND they are the last pair(omen possibly?)

These, $104. and i think i will have trouble wearing them...

Once I get the shoes, I'll have to post, won't I...ok, it's the only way to see if we made the right choice Jewel tones...YuM! Think Amber and Amethyst!
Now to find the right clutch

I am a huge fan of color, but I think even for a casual wedding, color-blocking may be too informal with a heavy shoe.

How about a more monochromatic look? Similar to these...

Gingerbread Days - Polyvore
Dress You Up... - Polyvore
Clean - Polyvore

The purple is awesome, if you can scale down the heel width though, JMO.

Look! It's my color combo! Lori-Polyvore is kind fun !

A funny lesson I have learned...which started from collecting pottery...
Ugly is Good Crazy but true.
I swear the damn ugliest pieces of pottery out there are also the most coveted and priciest. I'm beginning to think this is also true of shoes!
Do you see what's on the models feet on the runways?!

Here is a lovely example ...Acne shoe (reminds me of squid ) a mere $822.!

eta:And no, I'm not getting these!!!
