Theory pants/trousers fit

How do these pants typically run? And what makes them so great? I'm looking for a nice pair of wool slacks for work and I'm a tts 26.

I've seen a couple at my TJ Maxx -- IIRC they are numbered 0, 2, etc.

I tried on a pair and they were lovely (a bit long for me even with heels) in a size 2 and they fit me well. Very comfy and not itchy.

I didn't notice anything that made them super great ... although I wasn't studying them too hard because I passed on a pair that was on clearance for $60 for a pair of slacks that fit me better for $20

Thanks, Marg. I thought I read they were the best slacks ever, but I'm not ready to pay $300/pair or even $200 w/ the sale. Great idea about TJ Maxx. I will look there. Or maybe just get Banana Republic or something.

I love Theory suits. They fit me really well. I try not to wear polyester, and their wool dress pants/suits are perfect for me because they're not heavy itchy wool. I can wear the lightweight wool ones almost year round (which is great because I wear suits almost every day). Even though theory tends to be a bit pricey, I'm ok with it because I get a lot of wear out of the clothes.

My Loehmann's had a bunch of theory pants/suits a week-ish ago, so you might want to check there too.

Hi Ladies,
I'm brand new to this forum!! I'm about to purchase my first pair of Theory leggings/pants. I'm a tts 26, and I found the size 2 Theory Pants to be tight, and 4 comfortable but slightly big. Do you Theory experts know if the pants tend to shrink or stretch out? It's 94% viscose 6% spandex. Thank you so much!
