Gap Selvage?

Has anyone tried out these: Shop clothes for women, men, maternity, baby, and kids | Gap or any other selvage raw jean from Gap? Can you tell me what you think of them? GQ seems to be in love with them. They were on their list of top jeans under $100 and featured in their jean video: YouTube - GQ Rules 3 - Ep.11 - Buy a Pair of Dark, Straight Leg Jeans

i have two pairs of gap selvage jeans, one in a standard fit and another in their authentic fit. the authentic fit is a bit more fitted on me than the standard one is. the color is nice and dark and the standard one was a bit more stiff than the authentic one when i first got them. i wear each pair maybe twice a week, had the standard one for over a year and the authentic one for less than a year, so far so good with the quality.

got some...

i got a pair of the authentic fit today. they have a non selvage wich is pretty much the same thing but for 50$ not 90$
also go online and look at abercrombie's skinny jean. they call it the rinse. its VERY dark and the same indigo color all the way through just like dry denim. its basically raws that had 1 soak. i like them a lot

Found some 40% off coupon...I'm in for 2 pairs (Gap, not A&F). I'll give my assessment next week when they arrive.

I've a pair of the "raw" (more like one rinse), "Authentic Japanese Denim" (exported to China and made there), low rise, straight selvage jeans. The fabric and details are excellent for the price point, and would put AF and any other mall brand to shame. These were from Fall 2009. If I'm not mistaken, they have stopped with the Japanese denim. I like em, and recommend them to anyone. Definitely follow everyone's advice about waiting for sales or coupons. You don't need to spend $80-100 on these.
