Ande Whall Denim

After a long wait, I've finally received my first pair of Ande Whalls

Just got my first pair of Ande Whalls:

Ande put some thought in to potentially using some AI denim, so I basically purchased his sample pair.

The cut I chose was "Slacker" in attempt to achieve a fit similar to a "Grifter" after a soak. The "Slacker" cut has a little extra room in the rise, which will shrink during the soak.

The construction of these jeans is exceptional. You can tell that there is a lot of care that went in to making these. I decided to post detail shots (and yes, I know they are large), because I think the details are the best part about these jeans.

Full detail shot:

I plan to soak tomorrow night, at which point I'll post fit pictures.

S.rauda, these were purchased from Ande Whall directly (andewhall — DENIM STORE)

These are by far the best jeans I've ever owned. I can't wait to soak tonight / tomorrow.

I also bought a pair of iron heart 301S, which in contrast, I hate. Most overhyped brand out there.

With the day off work today, I decided to take a couple fit pictures. They look a little odd because they aren't really falling naturally right now. Once the soften up, they'll look better. Once again, these are "Slackers":

You said these are the best jeans you have owned. Just curious what other pairs you have that you are comparing them to?

ande whall is great denim. great fit. but warning, it is sized exactly true to waist. if you plan to get the raker i strongly recommend sizing up, maybe two.

I'm seriously thinking about getting some Grifters. I am finding my APC's kind of uncomfortable. I barely ever wear them. They don't have a single fade or crease yet, lol.

I think Cougars would be a better fit for you. A little roomier up top, but still a moderately slim leg.
