24 oz. denim

I was just wondering if anyone has any denim this heavy and what your thoughts are. I tried on a pair of the naked and famous 24 oz weirdguys and they were extremely uncomfortable. I dont know if it was just the cut, but i could barely even get my legs out of them and i went up one size. Not only that, the denim is so thick i could barely get the buttons done up. Does anyone actually feel comfortable in these? If anyone does own these maybe you could let me know how long they take to break in and also if anyone could recommend a more straight leg / less tapered cut or brand of heavy denim.

I don't have experience with 24oz but I do have a pair of 21oz weird guy. They are not as rigid as 24oz but i am pretty sure they will work for you if you can hop and walk in 24oz..

As far as breaking-in, it really depends on the wearer...if you wear em everyday, 2 month should be long enough to soften the fabric..

I personally think weird guy is one of the best cut in terms of slim/tappered leg...you can also look into some japanese brands( Skull, Flathead, sugarcane, etc), I think they will have some for you..

You say you can barely get your legs out of them, eh?

Sounds like they might be a little too small for you. Super-heavy jeans aren't real great for super-slim cuts...there's just no room to breathe in a pair like that. You might want to consider sizing up once more, unless you *really* want a super-slim cut, in which case I'd suggest looking at a lighter pair with a little stretch to it.

I've got a pair of slim guys in a 21 oz. Not quite the same, but still a very nice fabric.

Another option, at least. I'd like to see them expand their slim guy selection, I really like that cut.
