What does Rinsed/Dry fabric mean?

Hey guys. Question for you. I just bought a pair of Helmut Lang denim and I'm pretty sure the jean is prewash. But the tag on the inside of the jean say Rinsed/Dry fabric. What does that mean? Thanks.

there are a lot of pre washes that are dark/plain which the company refers to as "raw" since they immitate the look of dry denim... That'd be my guess.

edit: if we could start using the small question thread for questions that can be answered with a post or two (or don't have anything to do with dry denim like this one) that'd be awesome, thanks!

^ Didn't even think of that. Thanks for the suggestion.

no worries man! there just aren't a whole lot of posts in the dry denim section so a small thread hangs around the top for a long time and if everyone used the small question thread it would make our part of the forum flow sooo much nicer!

Could mean that it's a one-wash. They'll fade about as much as a dry pair, but won't have the stiffness of one. Creases might not be as sharp, some indigo might have been lost in the washing process, probably won't be *real* shiny...yadayada.

What you said is absolutely everything the jean turns out to be.
