I just recently started using mine again. I honestly don't see much of a difference now. I used it straight for like 2 weeks, washing my hair every other day, and the stupid bottle is half gone. I have to use a minimum of 20 pumps. Ugh. It's too expensive for not nearly enough results. I have really frizzy hair, too, it just doesn't do anything regular shampoo and heavy conditioner can't.

My mom started using it exactly as the directions say to, and now she loves it and says she'll never use anything else. She hated it at first. idk.

Interesting! It is SUPER expensive though, I wish there was like a free sample lol. My hair is weird though so I don't know if it would do anything, I have that hair that is thick but each individual hair is fine..and my hair is freakishly straight and shiny. So i blow dry it and it looks like I flat ironed it...yeah i know it doesn't sound too terrible, but it would be nice to have some mega body and be able to curl it lol

I just wanted to see if the shampoo would make my hair BIG and SEXXXY!! lol

I'm still using it and loving it! Totally keeps my hair from being a frizzy mess. I buy the biggest bottle they sell on qvc.com for $50ish and it lasts me 3-4 months, so I don't think it's that expensive. I wash my hair every 2-3 days.

So I guess my biggest question is - Does it make your hair greasy? I have super oily hair and need to wash it everyday.

Is this stuff made by the same company proactiv is?

If your hair is oily (mine is in the summer sometimes). Don't wash it for 3 days (it will be super greasy by the end), only wet it if needed, and repeat this a couple times.. it should slow down the oil production a bit?

Same applies to your face, you wash it to much or stripe the oils, it will make your skin oiler.

^ Yeah, that does actually work. I feel like my hair gets clean enough, and I also have fairly oily hair, but I only wash it every other day, regardless of the shampoo I use. It does usually look worse by the 2nd day if I use the wen instead of regular shampoo, though. Idk. I used it again tonight, and my mom got me a HUGE bottle of the lavendar stuff for xmas, so I guess I'll continue to use it for a while. It can't hurt! I don't see any miracle, but it's not bad either. I still have to use product on my hair to get it to curl appropriately and that always makes it look super bad and dry/frizzed at the end of 2 days (after sleeping on it and having the baby play with it).

If wen is actually like sally's hair one (which I use occasionally when my hair is feeling slightly fried from blow drying) then I probably wouldn't use it on the type of hair you describe. It's not exactly greasy, and it doesn't weigh my hair down, but it does make it more straight and less voluminous after a few uses.

I know this is a really old thread, but I just bought the Hair one product, since the wen is pretty pricey...hoping it works will give it a try tomorrow.

Please do post. I use Wen. Curious to see how Hair one is. Wen ends up pretty reasonable when QVC has it on a today's valve and you can lock in the price to have it auto delivered.

i think yo will love it Jenn I used the wen for the first 4 months (auto shipment from QVC ) and then switched to hair one from Sallys and i like the hair one so much better than the wen. the consistency is easier to work with and my hair is smoother and shinier after. i use the one made for curly hair with the argan oil and i get the quart size bottles for $20 shipped when they are on sale

I'm using the Fig right now cause I have frizzy hair and it totally gets rid of the frizz. Were you using the fig? This actually sounds better and cheaper!

i tried the Wen fig but it was to "heavy" for my hair and it made it greasy too fast. i have super fine, thin, curly hair that i generally blow dry straight. I had the most luck with Wen's cucumber aloe and their lavender formulas.

I'm not sure which would be best for you, i'm thinking the olive oil one i tried it and it was a lot like the Fig for me, weighed my hair down and made it greasy. but i think if your hair is thick and course it would be perfect

they sell little sample packets too one of these days i'll buy them all and sample them

I think I would need the olive oil one too. I gonna stop by Sally's and pick it up. The lavender was OK for me but not heavy enough to weigh it my hair down and get the frizz out. Sounds like he OO will work. Thanks so much for your help!

Woo! I love this post and I love your hair! This *does* however re-affirm my decision to pay a stylist big buxx to cut and dye my hair as I am *just* not well coordinated enough to do that on my own without burning my pretty little eyes out. Also, thanks for the tip about cold water, thatíll help me keep my red. I think I might not shampoo anymore eitherÖ just condition. You donít really need to shampoo in the first place, right?
Great post!

Buy Moroccan Hair Oil

I am sure that you have been hearing about the amazing new hair product that comes from the Argan Tree plant in Morocco. If you are looking to buy argan oil you are in luck because they actually have a free trial, but we will get into that later. We are going to explain a little about this product so you have an idea about how it works.
