Well, I have touch of class next week, and my pants that go with my suit don't need a belt to hold them up. Is it mandatory to wear a belt? Or will it look weird without?
Yes for guys and no for girls in my opinion though I still prefer it with most women's suits too. Girls can always just wear a thin sweater and leave it out anyway so I'm guessing you are a guy?
Anyhooo, the rule is if it has belt loops, wear a belt. Exception: jeans. However, the fashion police probably won't be there, they are too busy with Mariah Carey right now, so do as you will!:magwink
In Edmonton high schools, we have a day where all high schoolers wear their suits etc to school.
And yes they do have belt loops, but when I warp my pants around my waist without a belt, its already tight
Of course you can wear a suit without a belt. It often looks more relaxed, confident. Not necessarily anyone can pull it off however. Depends largely on silhouette, formality of event, and yes, the suit itself. When done right, it's positively dapper.
yeah, go with one pant leg rolled up LL Cool J style :thumbsup everyone will be like, whoa that guy must get mad honeys and you can be like yeah i know whats up
and then do a dance
