Help My Jennifers wont shrink

Ok so my Jennifers are too big and I tried to shrink them but it didnt work. I soaked them in hot water last night for an hour and put them in the dryer but they still didnt shrink a bit. Does anyone else have any suggestions what to do. I dont want to sell them

I don't know if this will help or not, but I've found with several washings, jeans have shrunk up a lot in the inseam...I just don't know if it'll work sizewise. Just keep washing/drying in hot water and see if they will shrink. If not, you'll probably have to sell.

I know this is pretty OT, but I would suggest you sell them because flares are heading out, and the bigger the flares, are the faster they will be looking 'out'. Holding them too long will make them harder to get rid of or get a good price for.
I know a lot of people are clinging to their flares, but its not really in your best interest to hold too many for too long. They will be the 'mom' jeans of the not too distant future..just a thought.
I still have some too, just not looking to get too many more..

I see it heading this way too. Not too excited about straight leg (makes me look "hippy" ). How long do you think we have before the flares are "mom" jeans?

Ahh, well IMO ease your way into the trend, by modifying it with boot cuts first. Fall will bring A LOT of straight legs, and the past two seasons all the magazines have been showing straight legs..I wouldn't say they will be 'mom' in a year, but not much more than that and they will be looking pretty out.

I'm soo excited about the straight leg thing. I love them, unfortunately it's way too difficult to find taper/straight in at least a 33 inseam!

Some of my flares that I really like I'll probably just have tailored into straight.

I think if you rock your jeans you'll never look outdated even if they're flared. I think the straight legs have been here for a while, at least where I live, and my friends are actually looking for flares again lol. So whatever styles you like and rock, wear them imo, and they'll never be mom jeans. I think talk_shows even posted a link to some new Diesels which were really flared btw

Good to know. I was thinking I also live in a VERY small town that's way behind the times (years)....so I definitely have some extra "flare" time

You know it....I am looking for more straight legs bc I got a pair and am now converted, but am not worried about all my other jeans since the Kingston area is "the land that fashion forgot"

i totally agree. i have way too big of a butt and hips to be wearing tapered pants. they are nowhere near flattering on me.

Tapered and straight are two different things...Tapered is a harder look to pull off for curvy girls, but the look can be modified with straighter cuts that are not tapered. This is why there are certain people that always look in style without clinging to ultra trendy because they figure out how to modify the trend to work for them & their body!!
