Like another thread that I posted in, I think wearing TR with Affliction, Ed Hardy, CA = brand wielding attention whore. |

| | ^^^ That's fabulous!!!!!
I like the TR, but I agree, TR is fabulous in it's own right and you can put a faded, beat up t-shirt with those or even a nice button up and you'll look very fashionable.
I love the beaten up look! Great first pair.

| | I have two "Yellowman", many "De Puta Madre", "Diesel", "Dsquared", "Ed Hardy" and "A+F" Shirts,
I wear them with my Diesel, SfaM and R&R! My dark blue DKNY I wear with very
colored Shirts!
My TR'S I wear with "Energie".....or other decent, uni - colours Shirt's like
"Diesel", "American Vintage", "A+F" or "G - Star"!
TR stand alone, need no other message.....the other PD's you can wear
with decent colours or letters!
You can wear your shirt's with your jeans you have, but for TR's please
buy nice Shirt's in any colour, but without messages!
The stitching on TR's is very important, don't make it death!
(Sorry I take longer for a message, it's not my language!)

And nixing the TRs because your tastes in shirts is so selective is dumb. You should wear whatever you like with your TR. Why let a bunch of people on the internet you don't know dictate your wardrobe?
That being said, In my opinion a monotone or modest T-shirt without eye-catching graphic would be ideal with TR. That or Non-label screaming button-up shirts or sweaters also work well.

| | | ok ok
its just i dont have very many non screaming shirts and i really like true religions so if i stick with true religions then ill have to go shirt shopping
i just dont know if i can leave my affliction shirts behind
they are sorta my trademark
ill try the true religions with some solid color tees from american apperal and see how that works out |

| | You are right to say, wear what you want....I will say, I have many shirt's
I don't wear with TR's, its my opinion, not the message from others.....
I like it, when I am wearing TR's, the jean is important!
With jeans without important stitching I have no problem, to wear colourful shirt's!
But at least, everybody should wear, what he like, it was only a good
meaning, the TR to hold as the important pice of wearing!

Exactly. Don't let people tell you what you should and shouldn't wear based on their own personal taste. I say, if YOU like it, wear it!
I'm not a fan of affliction either but to each their own. |

What kind of jerk is going to see him walking down the street and be "omg, i can't believe he is wearing those items together??". It is just plain mean.
Fashion is a statement of your individual personality, and its NOT a conformist thing.
I say wear what you want with the jeans. They are awesome, and yeah they CAN stand on their own... but where I am from 90% of people wouldn't know trues from walmart jeans, so it doesn't matter if the brands "clash".
