Fakes. Why? lol well to start.

ETA:

The waist tag, much like the jeans them self, is a disgrace.
The wash is extremely grainy.
Tacking is terrible.
Horseshoes are really misshapen.

Much much more.

I recommend this thread. VERY helpful.
How to spot fake tr's! (Under rebuild be patient)

I am not an expert on these jeans and didn't really find that guide helpful. Can you be a little more specific? What is mishappen about the horseshoes? And what do you mean by the stitching? What do you think about the interior tags? I only paid $10 for them at a thrift store so I'm not out much, but I'm trying to learn so that I can pick out the fakes a little better. Thanks!

the little foil strip on the interior tag should have tiny little letters .... ( spelling out " security " ) .

OMG those are horrible..

Grainy streaky cheap wash
Misshapen horseshoes

Poor incorrect stitching horseshoes and overall.

Those are bad pal.

Forget the magnifying glass, & security strip, so unnecessary.

Just look at the jeans MAN~!
sheesh

Look at the serged inside back seam.

Should NEVER be serged back seam OR yoke seam.

What is this hideous cheap streaky denim?

Horrible.
Also LOOK at the horseshoe!

Do you think it looks anything like this?

Umm, thanks I think. I've posted several jeans to the other threads and never has a moderator tried to make me feel so stupid before. I am new to designer jeans and joined this forum to help me learn, not to be treated rudely for asking questions. Like I said thanks, kind of...

Treated rudely?

Did you NOT ask for specifics of what is fake about the jeans?
I am attempting to educate you at your own request, but you do not like that?

The guide that is under construction while it is very incomplete & outdated, could have helped you a little bit as well as taking a look at what is definitely real.
If you choose to take some sort of perceived offense when you ask a direct question and it is answered, then I do not know how we can help you.

Uhhhh Joan was in no way being rude or trying to make you feel stupid. She gave you lots of reasons why they are fake. You sure are sensitive!
