New styles at True Religion (no pics.. sorry =/ )
I stopped by a True Religion retail store this afternoon and they had a few new styles that had just come in.
For men, they actually had a limited edition pair of Bobbys numbered "2" out of 5000 and the store only had one in each size. I can't find anything on them online but they have them in select retail stores. They featured the original Horseshoes with a new wash (with distressing and the like) and waist label I'd never seen before.
For women, I saw a new style jean with what looked to me like either small silver sequins or bright foil style in the shape of the 'Superflatlock' (spider-web) horseshoe. They were a bit ostentatious IMO but they were really shiny and stuff if you're into that 'bling' sorta thing...
Once again sorry no pics. I tried to take a few shots on my phone but sales associate was rather anal in enforcing the no pictures policy.
ETA: For NY members who want to see IRL, I went to the Union Square store on Broadway and was informed that these styles are also available at the Soho and Upper East side locations.
When we view something contrary to custom we assign them a monstrous quality. We infer based on something's lack of ordinariness that it is disgusting or somehow linked to something inhumane, in some cases one might say uncivilized. -Lady GaGa
