Frye Men Shoes with TR Jeans

Hello,

Please post your feedback on whether or not these Frye Jace Woven Slip On shoes in black, brown, & camel looks nice with TR jeans. Below is a link to the shoes on the Frye website.

I'm not so sure how I feel about the embroidery/studs at the front/top of the shoe, it's just a little much for my taste.

Anyways...I am sort of torn between saying yes, or no. I feel like, yeah...they would probably look good with True's, but True's usually have so much going on that I'm not sure I'd (but that is just me) want to wear such a busy shoe. But at the same time, they'd look good with them.

They can work...make sure the TR itself is not too bold.

I agree but IMO if you're going to spend the money on Fryes it'd be wise to pick something less opulent and more versatile. Those are very nice but have are a bit much for a pair of shoes IMO. Personally, I'd go with something a bit more modest so that you can wear them without worrying about your outfit appearing flamboyant. Also picking something a bit less showy would widen your choices for pairing with jeans and Ts since the boots won't be so extravagant.
