that is what i was thinking too. i actually own these jeans. i bought them earlier this year off of a member from honestforum.com. maybe the back horseshoe looks weird on the left because that pocket is missing the button? does anyone know if at honestforum if they have to get their jeans auth. before they are allowed to put them up in the mall?? anyway, just wanted to see what everyone here thinks.

Fake IMO Tags, raw serged inner butt seams, horseshoe shapes, etc. Wait for luvapup. Maybe it's an older style and I'm just not as familiar.

I'm not an active member at HF, but I do not believe they go through the mod approval for their mall. Wait for others to confirm/deny this.

If these are indeed fake you need to let a mod know and open a paypal dispute NOW. That is really horrible if that indeed happened there.

i did go back to honestforum right now and was able to find the link to the thread of these jeans when i bought them. i bought them in august so i don't know if i can still open a paypal dispute?? i will def. email the mod over there though!! here is the link from the seller at honestforum:

They are real.

The serged inside is due to the extensive repair as seller stated on HF.

All other things check fine, they are old school TR and they are real.

Your welcome. Keep us posted, I think its been too long to get a refund from pp, but the seller should refund either way, I would contact a mod immediately and if you can't let us know and we can help.

Thats just plain sucks, I have never even thought about getting fakes from a forum I am truly sad for you. Hopefully it was a honest mistake and you will get a refund.

omg you guys, i was so sad but now i am happy!!! thanks everyone for looking and answering in this thread. thank you joan it is so hard for me to tell sometimes if tr jeans are fake or not!! these fit really well, not like fake jeans (yes, i have been fooled before)!! ithese are actually one of my favorite pairs of tr jeans b/c they fit so well!! i actually jumped up and down when you said they were real!! yay!! thanks again everyone!!

yep, i have a feeling my wallet is really going to hate it!!! i was over at the mall a little earlier drooling over a number of jeans!! i love finding deals on jeans it's like xmas morning finding a good deal!! thanks for the welcome

Now that I see the link, it makes sense. Sorry about that -- the serged seams does not appear on a genuine pair as new BUT I did not know that there were extensive repairs done as the link was not provided when I posted. Had I known, I would have just thought it an older style but which is also why I wanted you to wait for Joan (luvapup).
