Microstitch is not present in every pair of genuine TR. Does not need to be so lack of one is not an indicator of a fake.

Maybe real -- personally, I can't tell with those pics.

Didn't know about microstitching.
Does that apply to old models only?
In case of diesel, as far as i know they didn't have microstitching on jackets or shirts prior to 2005 (not sure of jeans).
Would TR be the likely case?

No.
Sme current pairs do not have microstitch, and some will have it in different places on the tags if they DO have it.
Its no sure guarantee at all.
Fakes have little silvery strips that can appear to be microstitch.
One of the last things to look at/for.
