Hey. Got these from TR itself...but someone called me out on them and worried that they could be fakes? Please authenticate for me so I don't have pause at trying to sell them. Thanx!

Those are way fake!

What is it about them that lets you know. Also...my heart is in my throat! I am totally not kidding when I say I got them straight from the source!!

I think it may be that the horse shoe on the back pockets is not alligned perfectly even?

But I can't see how they could be fake if you bought them from True Religion. *scratches head* the store online, or an actual physical store, what?

It is the actual True Religion showroom. The only thing I can think...if they are in fact fake...is that an employee took advantage of the sample sale. Perhaps placing a "fake" pair and taking the real thing?

Wow. I'm actually flabbergasted that you could buy that pair from True Religion. Out of curiosity, the showroom you went to is located where?

Well, those are fake. So many things wrong. I just can't see how they would put out a pair like that, and let you go through a point of sale. I would imagine several employees would have seen them.

Sorry that's what you were sold. That stinks. Can you make a complaint to them?

You know...this was a sample sale. I have an "in" and I have access to their inventory etc...The only thing I can think of is the employees dealing in the sample sale played a switcharoo. I don't want to reveal the location etc...for many reasons. I hope you can all respect that. Mainly because I don't want to call them out online.

A lot of SA have no clue, thats for sure.

Do not sell that pair. Do whatever you have to and return it.

1. Shape of horseshoes, the fake is too small, does not fill the pocket.
2. Fake is not placed in the proper place or centered right.
3. Note different shape on the pocket itself. Real is angled wider at top, rectangular and pointed The fake is boxy and squarish.
4. Note the evenness of stitch length in the real, and the small irregular length stitches in the fake. Particularly note the center back seam.
5. Note the color of the horseshoe stitches. The real is warm toned, and blends nicely each row of color. The fake is almost garish.
6. Denim quality jumps right out as well as the wash itself.
7. Belt label. Yes, the real is mens, the fake womens.
But look at the size, its supposed to be a BigT so the belt label should be bigger on the womens anyway.
8. Note the uneven placement location and stitching on the belt label. The fake is very sloppy.
9. Shape of pocket flaps. Real TR has flaps that gently and gracefully curve from edge toward the apex center. See the shape of the fake flap.

Secondly even when there are sample sales, they are for EMPLOYEES ONLY, no outsiders allowed

OK, I do not know about the particulars of this but:

Mike is aware of this ' showroom sample sale' so there is something to be said for that.

I have seen the OP posts and ebay sales SEVERAL times prior and they are ALL real, and ALL interesting, and ALL sample sizes.

I have helped her on several occasions with wash and style for the past few months on and off.

I have not seen her with a fake pair that I have looked at.
Until this one in this thread.

So sorry this happened to you! My friend got sold a fake Balenciaga at a sample sale in London! You honestly believe you are somewhere where everything just HAS to be authentic!! So sad!
