is this normal

is it normal for a pair of painted billy dark vintage not to have anything printed on the section, the seat and the row. these areas are blank.

If they are Women's jeans, yes, that is normal. I have two pair of the Painted Pockets and neither pair have anything in those sections.

If they are Men's jeans, I do not know!
