How do you wash your jeans???

I'm curious as to how you wash your jeans and what kind of detergent you use... Do you do anything special? I have the Dk Luvstruck White Rainbows and I'm afraid they'll bleed I wanna make sure I can maintain the wash of the jeans and the beautiful white stitching. Should I wash them by themselves?

Any advice is welcome

cold water inside out
to keep jeans from bleeding, I would add a little vinegar to the water.
For the first time washing them I would wash them with other dark jeans

first time I agree ^ cold water inside out vinegar to prevent bleeding after that
I hot wash them inside out and dry inside out , I love my jeans to shrink up after I worn them so much

I dont want to ruin my jeans either hehe!

tbh I don't know what the difference/effects between cold and hot was are... could somebody tell me?

for me I notice if I hot wash and dry wash I get a nice tight shrink out of them, which I love, b/c I wear my jeans a lot before washing. Cold water and hang dry will keep the size they are at IMO

cold wash: colors won't bleed, no shrinkage.

hot wash: colors may run, shrink a little

I hand wash in cold water, then hang dry in the shade (never in the sun). I haven't tried the vinegar that I hear so many members have used but I haven't had problems with color bleeding.

Washing jeans in warm/hot water or drying with heat will help shrink them back, but if they are stretch, the heat can be damaging. I wash all of my jeans in cold water inside out. I hang dry most and only tumble dry a select few that I need to shrink. Not coincidentally, the jeans I tumble dry aren't the ones I wear often.

now i have to ask another dumb question, about what is better: hang dry them (which is actually what i always did) or dry wash them (which i dont know how to do?)

toss em in the washer with everything else. hang dry and or tumble on low heat.

I wash all of mine in cold and hang dry. Then I put them through the 20 minnute steam cycle on my LG Tromm Washer to loosen up that stiffness that comes with hang drying. No need for ironing this way.

I use a decent splosh of vinegar the first wash, and because i'm extra careful about my jeans they get to swim in decadence all by themselves, no other laundry squishing in their faces ;-) Cold and then hang dry.
