OK, I need some help. I just bought my second pair of TR. My first pair is a size 28, they are really comfortable, but I can take them off without unbuttoning them. The pair I got today is also a 28. I mean, they are kind of tight when I first put them on, and yes, I know they do stretch, but I am just not sure if I should get a 27. I am right in between a 27 and 28!! Can someone please give me advice.

I heard they were supposed to be as tight as possible when you get them, and then they stretch, is that true?

I have the medium lovestruck and today I got the light wildcat. I don't like tight tight jeans at all....but the fact I can pull them down has me wondering.

I think it all depends on how you are comfortable wearing your jeans. I don't think any jeans are supposed to be SKIN TIGHT. Though that is the way some people like to wear them. If you are getting rigid and they are too baggy after wearing them you might want to try stretch?

I think if you can take them off without unbuttoning them you would be comfortable sizing down. In my opinion.

This blend stretches more than the 2% polyurethane, IMO.

I agree! Light Wildcat will stretch a good bit. I have Johnny Heritage Supers in LW size 27 and I could have worn a 26 after they stretch out.

i had this same problem when i first tried TRs! I wish i had known how they're supposed to fit when you first put 'em on when i tried them at Century 21 in NYC. but I know that my pair of Billy stretch fit like normal jeans when i first put 'em on, but get way too baggy by the end of the day. I think i'd prefer 'em snug when you first put them on, so that way by the time you get in the car, get to class/work/etc, within an hour they'll look comfy and nice.

I bought them at Nordstroms (online), but I think tomorrow I will go to Nordstroms and hopefully they will have a 27 that I can try on. If they are so tight, I can barely close, than that is just not going to be happening for me...I will take them as is in the 28.

With stretch TR, if they don't start out snug on me they usually end up too big. I like my rigid tr to fit a half size big because I think they look better that way on me. I have a few pairs of jeans that I can take off w/o unbuttoning, but they are my "slouchy" jeans!

imo..a lot of TR can be taken off w/out unbuttoning because they have such a low rise.
i can remove all of mine w/out unbuttoning.
