This pair has like an interrupted stitch on the squiggle, and it trails off the pocket and down one leg a little. Only seen these a few times. Someone opened the hems up though

So I paid almost twice as much as they went for before...but I wasn't going to miss them twice! I'll deal with the short inseam; I've been looking for crop-length jeans for winter boots anyway. Maybe that's what these will become.
