(Please, no "I told you so"s!)

Several months ago I bid on (against my better judgment) and won one of killertrash's auctions. She then sent the wrong jeans. I told her this, and after providing a detailed list on everything that is different on bootcut vs. Winston, she agreed to pay return shipping and send the correct pair (which she said she had sitting there), upon receiving the return. I had to pester for the shipping refund, but got it. Then she sends...the exact same wrong pair of jeans! After more haggling, she agrees to another shipipng refund. 3 weeks after this return, I now had no jeans AND no refund of the original purchase price. After a couple of very angry e-mails, she finally sent my money via Paypal (afraid of sending the wrong jeans again, I guess).

Here's the pisser: More than a month after I thought this was finally done, I get a message from Paypal that she has opened a dispute against ME! The claim is this:
"The buyer has filed a claim stating this transaction was made without the account holder’s knowledge or consent."

How could she have sent me a payment without her knowledge? Is she saying her account was hacked? I have all the friggin' e-mails in which she says she sent a refund!! In the meantime, my account is frozen. How do I resolve this?????

You need to send paypal the details including all emails indicating you paid for an item and were refunded, and the confirmation number for the item you sent. This my friends is why you must insist that refunds be made PROPERLY, which is through the "refund" button on the original transaction page. If the seller initiates a brand new payment from the 'send money' tab, you not only pay Paypal fees, but, you got it... the seller can chargeback it!

wow, that seriously sucks. Maybe you can forward the emails to the dispute department. I had someone try to screw me over once through paypal and I up and called paypal myself to explain my situation to them. They made note on the dispute for when it was reviewed of my issue. I would call paypal and let them hear your side of the story...just remember, it isn't the fault of the person who answers your call, so try to stay calm (i had to work a little at that cuz when I called i was darn near furious at the situation )

After reviewing the claim, Paypal dismissed it and released the hold on my account. Then I get a message from killertrash asking why I "never returned" the jeans. I responded that we both knew she was full of crap, and now I have the first ever negative feedback on my account -- her lie stating that I "refused to return (her) product"! I posted a follow-up that pointed out that Paypal agreed with me, and that retaliatory feedback is not allowed. ARRGHHH!

Sorry - I just had to vent. It is now my mission to see her booted from ebay permanently.

Um.. retaliatory feedback IS allowed actually. It does not violate feedback policy at all. Everyone can leave whatever they want (so long as it doesn't have profanity, contact info, etc)

Hmm, I see. Well, she also just sent a request for mutual withdrawal of the negative feedbacks. I haven't decided what to do about that, since she is so thoroughly deserving of all of the nasty things one can possibly say about her.

If I was you I would let the feedback stand. As a seller a neg on her is MUCH MUCH worse than a neg on a buyer. That is exactly the point. All the comments will remain anyway. I would leave the negs...it should not affect you at all.
