| | | Ever confessed to wearing fakes?
A friend of mine asked to help him paint his office today. I went wearing clothing I didn't care about, including the first pair of fakes (supposed SFAM sigs with crystals) I bought on ebay years ago. I knew there was a reason they were still in the back of my closet. 
On my way back home I remembered I had to run to the post office and while I was in line, this woman complimented me on my jeans. And I was struck with this dilemma: do I confess to wearing fake jeans or do I just thank her?
I just couldn't accept that compliment; I ended up telling her they were fake and about the painting this morning. She confessed to once using a fake Coach bag. I felt so sheepish...I couldn't get home fast enough to take them off!
So - anyone been caught wearing fakes that's willing to admit to it?

| | I don't mean to give the impression that I wear fakes regularly - I've never worn them since discovering AF. But I kept this one pair for something like today. But now they're covered in paint, they will be trashed.  I was just amused that I wore them to one place in public and I had to "out" myself!
